Trager Practitioner Deane Juhan will present a Trager Fundamentals and Resistance and Release Workshop at Montreal, Quebec in Canada on October 26-28, 2018.

The Trager Workshop is the sequel of Deane Juhan’s Anatomy for Bodyworkers on October 20-22, 2018.

Deane Juhan is the author of Job’s Body, possibly the most famous textbook and also widely used resource in therapeutic bodywork.

He began his career in 1974 at Esalen Institute. At Esalen, he practiced and taught for 18 years. In addition, he is also one of Dr. Trager’s earliest students. Deane continued training with Dr. Trager until his death in 1992.

Accordingly, many innovative kinds of bodywork and movement therapy developed at Esalen. Alongside many equally new approaches to cognitive, emotional and spiritual work. Moreover, his training and practice is focused on the integration of the client’s whole being–body, mind and soul.

Resistance and Release work is designed to re-coordinate our musculature as a whole. Aside from that, it also helps to train more efficient and effective recruitments of muscular contractions and lengthenings. Furthermore, muscular contractions and lengthenings’ involved in any position or movement, from feet to head and from sleeve to core.
